RRev Dominates at IFO in Seattle
Took both the Supras up to the Import Face off at Seattle International Raceway. Both cars ran excelent. Brians Supra ran
a new best time of 9.31@150. He lost in the semi finals, but ran hard all day. The Red Supra ran a best of 8.56@167 and won the FIP class. Below is the video of the finals.
First time out with the Mustangs new setup and set a personal best
Our first outing with the Mustang this year was for the 2nd Headsupnw race at Woodburn drag strip. First pass was turned all
the way down and ran 10.4, second at 18psi ran a 8.9, and finally the last pass was a 8.59@166. Looking forward to turning it up a bit more :)
We had a great outing this past Sunday for the first HeadsupNW race at WoodburnDragstrip.
There were a lot of personal best ET's set and a victory. First, Brian Robards ran a new personal
best of 9.37@146in his 6 speed Supra. He ran in the 9's all day with a 9.47 and 9.50 to follow. He also won his class, NICE JOB ! Next,
our sponsored car owned by Mike Leclair ran a new personal best of 10.0@153, he backed it up with another 153mph run. Next time out he will be shooting for his first 9 ! Speaking of 9's, a good
buddy of ours Justin Nassey ran a new best of 9.7@157in his Civic, he followed it up with a 9.8 and 9.9. We helped Justin and Mike both corner balance there cars last Friday
night, which seemed to really help (both dropped .4sec off there best times). Finally, Tim Robards drove a turbo 5 speed
fox body mustang owned by Jeff @ All Ford Performance. The car ran 10ish lbs on pump gas w/ 235 drag radials,
we managed to get a 10.8@129 out of it. Jeff drove it 50 miles each way to the track, what a great street car !
Here are a couple of video's
of Brian and Mikes passes:
What a weekend ! Probably the best race I have ever been to. There was a lot of fast cars there and the competition was great.
The pro class broke a few records. First, the bump for a 32 car field was 6.53 which is the fastest ever. Then, there was
(2) 5 second passes in the pro class, first time ever.
Our own Walter Grosse both finished very well and acheived
a new best time while in Vegas. Walter's 1999 Mustang (BBF with GT60 turbo) sponsored by All Ford Performance and RRev Motorsports
got a new best time of 7.68 @183, This all done on a 315/60/15 drag radial ! Walter finished in 4th place and even took home
a little money. The car ran very consistent all weekend. Congrats to Walter and crew !
Chris Storlie of JS Racecars
and Storlie Brothers racing also did very well. His beautiful 55 Chevy ran a new best time of 7.64@193.9.. not a typo, that was 193.9 !!! This car has HUGE potential. It is powered by a twin GT4788 turbo big block with a Lenco
style transmission. Great job guys !
